Aircel is all set to introduce “My First Internet” service for its subscribers using internet for the first time. This service is aimed at helping first-time internet users on Aircel network.

The service basically helps first-time internet subscribers choose the right data packs and offer a suggestion on how to use the internet. It acts as a one-stop portal from getting internet settings to frequently asked questions.
Even Airtel launched a similar concept called ‘One Touch Internet’, a first of its kind initiative aimed at simplifying internet services for millions of first-time users in India. Airtel’s ‘One Touch Internet’ is a WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) portal designed with a simple, secure and intuitive interface that will allow first-time users to discover the internet easily and help them overcome common perception barriers around the mobile data experience.

Internet penetration in India is less than 20% and coming years will witness massive growth in data market. Operators are trying to bring in more first-time time internet users to cash in on data revolution in India.
