Vodafone Idea (Vi) has implemented a series of precautionary measures to ensure uninterrupted telecom services in anticipation of Cyclone Dana. The company said it has proactively ensured sufficient fuel supplies at sites across all locations, with additional stocking at strategic points for emergency use. Additionally, Vi has allocated additional manpower and vehicles in the alarming districts to handle any emergency situation and has established 24 by 7 network monitoring through War Rooms at its offices and vendor locations.

Vi Ensures Precautionary Measures
"Vi is strongly committed to provide seamless connectivity to people, especially at times of emergency. We have taken all precautionary measures to prepare for cyclone Dana," Vodafone Idea said in a statement on Thursday.
Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) Collaboration
Vi said it is also working closely with other telecom service providers to test intra-circle roaming (ICR) and has collaborated with government agencies to ensure stable connectivity during the cyclone, allowing users to stay connected with their loved ones during the emergency.

"Through our partnerships with all stakeholders and Government agencies, we have prepared to ensure stable telecom connectivity during the cyclone to let people stay connected with their loved ones," Vi added.
