Airtel Payments Bank, Park+ Enable FASTag Parking Solution at Bhubaneswar Airport

Airtel Payments Bank has partnered with Park+ to introduce a FASTag-based smart parking solution at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. According to the official release, this collaboration aims to revolutionize the way parking fees are paid by leveraging the functionality of the FASTag system. An earlier collaboration between the two companies saw Varanasi Airport enabled with this technology.

FASTag-based smart parking solution

The FASTag-based smart parking solution enables automatic cashless payments at airport parking lots, ensuring frictionless and time-efficient vehicle movement within the parking zone.

With this solution, parking fees are conveniently deducted from the associated FASTag account, eliminating the need for manual payments and reducing the time required for the process.

Expansion Plans for Smart Parking Services

Airtel Payments Bank says it is working with Park+ to streamline the payment process, focusing on reducing queues and wait times at major parking lots across the country. According to the company, the success of this collaboration in Bhubaneswar will pave the way for the service to be expanded to other city airports in the near future.

Park+ says it intends to remove parking anxiety for all car owners in Bhubaneswar and aims to expand smart parking services exponentially in the next 3-4 months. By downloading the Park+ app, Bhubaneswar residents can also recharge their FASTag, discover car insurance offers, find car maintenance partners, locate parking spots, and track their challans.
