Lava Z60s With Android Oreo (Go Edition) Launched in India at Rs 4,949

Lava, the domestic handset brand today announced its second Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in India, namely, the Lava Z60s. As the name itself suggests, the Z60s is a successor to the Lava Z60, which was launched earlier this year as the company’s first Android Go device. The Lava Z60s has been priced at Rs 4,949, and it can be picked up at over 75,000 retail outlets in Gold and Black colours. The Z60s goes against the likes of Nokia 1, which according to HMD Global is the best-selling sub-Rs 5,000 in the country. Lava says the Z60s comes with some key upgrades such as a bigger battery, better design over the Lava Z60.

Lava Z60s Specifications and Features

Since the Z60s is the successor to Lava Z60 which was released just a few months ago, most of the specifications of the handset remain the same. The Lava Z60s sports a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It has a 2500mAh battery underneath and runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition).

The smartphone is powered by an unspecified 1.5GHz quad-core chipset, clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There’s a microSD card as well for storage expansion. Cameras on the device include a 5MP shooter on the rear and a 5MP front-facing camera. The device measures 8.5mm in thickness and come in two colour options- Gold and Black.
