The WiFi router is a quintessential piece of puzzle when it comes to Internet connectivity. Major chunk of people opt for a broadband connection and pair it with a WiFi router which will let everyone in the home connect to the network through WiFi enabled devices and save on their carrier based data packs.

I have been using G Broadband in Bengaluru and I have a direct LAN cable coming to my home. Whilst pondering over on which Wifi router to buy on a budget I was mesmerized with this cute little router called Tenda Wireless 150 R. To set the context I just needed this router for a small apartment where I dwell and high range was something I was not bothered about.

The Tenda N150 is a 150Mbps wireless router which is powered by a Broadcom chip. This is a 802.11n compliant wireless router and also has reverse compatibility with 802.11g/b devices. Configuring the router is easy and can be done without much hassles. The router looks cute and it is just 2.5 inch and can be laid on even the smallest of the surfaces. Range is excellent and the signals are available not only across my apartment but is also is accessible upto 50 mts away from my apartment.

The best bit is that this router just costs Rs. 660 in Flipkart and it also has a 2 year warranty which is a great deal. The N150 has a WAN and a LAN port along with a single antenna. Setting up the router is extremely easy and all you need to do is go to the URL specified in the setup guide and then choose the security key. Thats all you need to do and your new Wireless router will be rearing to go. The default password to access the admin panel will be “admin”.
