    The Same cheating is done by aircel in most of the circles, even though they haven’t lose their licenses. People were behind these private operators and finally they betrayed them. I suggest people better to port out to MTNL / Bsnl . You can really trust them.

    Uninor ye tune achcha nahi kiya,

    • Dhruv Chohan March 1, 2013 1:43 pm

      Hey Amit,

      Considering Uninor is the only network providing best rates, it clearly reveals how consumer centric they are.. “Don’t blame Uninor, blame TRAI”
      If Govt so concerned about customers, they should give Uninor new license. Customers want cheap tariffs not refunds.

    I got the porting code before the uninor network went done. I submitted it to vodafone for porting. Today i went to vodafone store and came to know that the porting code which uninor sent me was invalid hence my porting request was rejected

    • Pratham February 23, 2013 9:13 pm

      same happened with me.

      • Amarjit February 23, 2013 10:01 pm

        let see what uninor does after trai recent direction

        • Kaustubh February 23, 2013 10:53 pm

          On Which dates had you got the UPC code from Uninor?
          was it after they sent the sms of shutting down or before that?

          • Amarjit February 23, 2013 11:15 pm

            @Kaustubh

            I got the porting code automatically after they sent sms for shutdown i.e. After they sent the sms for network shutdown and about 10 mins later they sent me the porting code even though i have not requested the code

            • Kaustubh February 24, 2013 8:18 am

              @Amarjit
              Are you from Mumbai or Kolkata circle?

              What about you Pratham?

              I have applied for porting to Aircel in Mumbai on 16th Feb, using UPC code which I got after sending sms to 1900 before Uninor shut down
              They said it should get ported by tomorrow.
              Will keep you updated on it

              • Amarjit February 24, 2013 11:20 am

                I am from mumbai. Let hope you get ported to aircel :). I got rejected from Vodafone :(

              • Pratham February 24, 2013 1:08 pm

                Same with me im too mumbai circle user of uninor i got the upc code on day when uninor went off 16.02.2013, but vodafone said that uninor rejected my request and now no response from both

      • Kaustubh February 24, 2013 3:25 pm

        Very unprofessional from Uninor to reject porting requests from affected and aggrieved customers. With such behaviour, they will be never welcomed back and will also affect their presence in other circles

        • Amarjit February 24, 2013 11:10 pm

          Now uninor told me that the UPC code they gave me is right. So nothing they can do now. So i am going to try my luck once again

          • Pratham February 25, 2013 7:50 am

            Same they told me when i was shocked to know from vodafone that they rejected my UPC code. Now they suggest to use same UPC code through a fresh application as they have officially started it

            • Amarjit February 25, 2013 12:20 pm

              @Pratham

              They told me to try again once more but today i went to vodafone store and they checked the UPC Code in the system and confirmed that this code is still invalid

              • Kaustubh February 25, 2013 4:09 pm

                I called uninor CC and they said that my MNP request has already been approved by them
                Then went to Aircel gallery, they checked status and said the activation has been initiated and should be completed within 1-2 days
                This is 9th day since I put the port out request so its not getting done in 7 days as widely claimed

        • Paras February 25, 2013 4:56 pm

          Same happened with me too in mumbai circle. Went to vodafone and they told me they are submitting the application again. Hope it goes thro… Did any one of you had any luck after rejection?
