Camera-centric Oppo F1 smartphone with 8MP selfie clicker now available in Rose Gold color

The Chinese smartphone maker Oppo released a Rose Gold color variant of its camera-centric smartphone F1. It is now up for sale in India for a price of Rs. 15,990.

In terms of specifications, the Oppo F1 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 64-bit chipset clubbed with 3GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage, which can be further increased up to 128GB via microSD card. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Oppo’s in-house Color OS 2.1 on top.

The main highlight of the device is its 13-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash, PDAF, 1080p video recording, along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Oppo has marketed the device to woo selfie lovers, and that is why the device is equipped with features such as Beauty mode and colour filters for the front camera app. Moreover, the phone also comes with ’screen flash’ feature that turns the screen into a front flash for brighter selfies. The phone is backed by a 2,500mAh battery and will be available in Golden color variant.
