India’s largest mobile operator Bharti Airtel is going to announce its 4G presence in Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab and Haryana today. Though the launch is announced today, the commercial availability is going to commence from 25th of March, 2013. Airtel 4G/LTE-TD network is also available in Mohali and Panchkula.

Chandigarh will be the fourth city in the country with LTE network following Kolkata, Bangaluru and Pune where Airtel launched services.
There is no change in tariff plans and devices. The state of art LTE network in Chandigarh is managed by Ericsson.
