Asus has ventured into the lucrative smartphone arena in the country with the Zenfone 4,5 and 6. They have been priced pretty aggressively with the Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5 locking horns with the Moto E and Moto X. The smartphones have been launched for Rs 5,999, Rs 9,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively.

Zenfone 4 (Rs 5,999/Rs 6,999)

  • PowerVR SGX544 GPU
  • 1GB RAM

It comes across as a pretty good Moto E rival as the 4.5 inch variant of the device comes across a way more value for money proposition.

Zenfone 5 (Rs 9,999/Rs 12,999)

It has struck the chord with the perfect price and will surely give sleepless nights to the Moto G for a while now.

Zenfone 6 (Rs 16,999)

Asus Zenfone 6
  • 6 inch capacitive display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels
  • 2 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2580 processor
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean which like its siblings has Zen UI on top and can be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB and 32GB internal memory options and the same is available for expansion by another 64GB
  • 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera
  • 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Dual SIM connectivity
  • 3300 mAh battery
  • Rs 16,999

The biggest and most powerful of the lot has the likes of Grand 2 and Lumia 1320 in sight. But it might struggle a bit against the Xiaomi Mi3 which was recently launched for Rs 14,999.

The smartphones are available with a slew of launch day offers from Flipkart and are quite the value for money devices too. Moto E and Moto G might just be concerned a bit too because the Zenfone 4 and 5 are bang on the money as value for money devices.
