YOU Broadband Takes on ACT Fibernet by Offering Google Home Mini to Its Users

YOU Broadband powered by Vodafone has introduced new and exciting plans for its customers. The Mumbai-based Internet Service Provider has partnered with Google to offer the Google Home Mini speaker with its select broadband plans. YOU Broadband subscribers who will opt for these plans won’t have to buy the speaker separately but will get it from YOU Broadband complimentarily along with their subscription. With this offer, YOU Broadband is taking on ACT Fibernet which is already offering Google Home Mini speaker in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Delhi. In the past, YOU also offered Amazon Fire Stick with select plans. However, this offer is only valid on select plans which are listed down below.

To accompany this offer, YOU Broadband has rolled out YOU Broadband Mini Plans which come with 100 Mbps, 150 Mbps and 200 Mbps speeds. All the three plans come with the Google Home Mini offer. While the 100 Mbps plan comes with a validity of 60 days with data usage up to 200GB, the 150 Mbps plan offers 300GB data with the validity of the plan being the same – 60 days.

The 100 Mbps plan is priced at Rs 3558, whereas the 150 Mbps plan is available for Rs 4067. Similarly, the better plan of 200 Mbps which has a validity of 90 days and a data usage of 600GB is available for Rs 4614.

Talking about the Google Home Mini, the smart speaker was debuted by Google in India in April this year. Since then, the gadget has gained significant popularity owing to its features which are primarily based on the Google Assistant. You will just need to start with “Hey Google” to get answers from your Google Assistant, tackle your day, enjoy music or TV shows, and control your compatible smart home devices. The Google Home Mini in India supports Google Play Music, YouTube, Netflix, Saavn, and Gaana. Google has also hinted at Hindi support for their Home and Home Mini speakers in India recently.

Like we mentioned above, the offer of Google Home Mini is only valid on YOU Broadband Mini Plans. Given that under this offer users get to enjoy high-speed internet along with the added advantage of getting their hands on a Google Home Mini complimentarily, it can be said that YOU Broadband offers a steal deal at this price.
