Xolo Q1001 with a 5-inch display launched in India for Rs. 6,199

Xolo has just launched a new smartphone, the Xolo Q1001 in the country for Rs. 6,199. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD display with WVGA resolution, and the company says that it has launched this device with the aim of bringing big-screen experience on a budget.

It has a quad-core processor from Mediatek, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. There’s a 5MP camera at the rear and a VGA camera on the front of the device. It is a dual-SIM smartphone, and gets the usual connectivity features such as Wi-Fi b/g/n, and Bluetooth. It is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery, and will be offered in black and white colour variants.

The devices is already up for sale for Rs 5,789 through Snapdeal. It has nothing that sets it apart from the plethora of handsets that are already available in the country, such as the Xiaomi Redmi 1S, the Lenovo A6000, and other Android One devices.

@ Devesh – You answered your own question. If your device does not support the 1.8Ghz band, you’ll not be able to use any signal from any operator on that band. Simple as that.

@ Super Geek – As for the article itself, for whatever it’s worth, the screen resolution is clearly advertized as FWVGA (854×480) and not WVGA (800×480), unlike as stated in the second sentence of the article.

It’s not a signal. It’s the INFORMATION that there’s an available signal. If you got the means, you can latch onto it. From your information, it doesn’t look like your device will be able to do that. /

PLZ answer this question,Can a LTE TDD supported dongle can catch a LTE FDD signal?Means that in MP Rjio will launch LTE FDD through 1800MHz,but my dongle e3276s-920 only supports LTE TDD 2300/2600MHz,but i am getting 4g signal in manual search result,may i be able to use 4g??
