Xolo has been trying to compete with the Motorola Moto G and it has been launching a lot of new devices in the same price range. A new budget quad-core smartphone named Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 has started selling at a price of Rs 9,780.

Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 Specifications

  • 5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels
  • 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, Adreno 302 GPU
  • 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
  • 8MP rear camera with a LED Flash and a 2MP front camera
  • 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Dual SIM connectivity
  • 2000 mAh battery
  • Black and White colours

The device has been listed on Snapdeal and it seems to be the place where Xolo usually launches its devices ahead of others. Xolo Q1000 Opus, which has already been updated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat looks like a better product in comparison and the Opus 2 name doesn’t look like it does justice to its predecessor.

Recently xolo has expanded its service center. At rare you may have problem. And you can get worth for money you spent.

Anyway it’s not suggestable for rough handlers and long term users.

I am seeing lots of complaints agianst xolo in flipkart reviews and other websites about xolo after sales service. They dont have parts, lazy people and so on. Is it true? Are xolo phones good to buy ? I dont change phones every year. I keep them for atleast 2-3 years. I am worried about after sales service.

Does anyone here can give advice?

Yes Xolo has pathetic after sales. If you can handle the phone safely then its not a bad choice. Else Xolo is not meant for rough handlers.

Xolo phones are good in quality and best value for money .complaint rate are very less .my friend using xolo q800 for around 2 years he is very happy with it .beware of fake reviews . because it is a simple logic that no companies can survive in the market without quality or services .Xolo is not conducting the business for one or two years .so they defenitely provide quality product and satisfactory aftersales .better neglect them and check the product review at various technical sites and decide accordingly.
