Xiaomi has added yet another product to its range of electronics by launching a new Wireless Charger called the Mi Wireless Charger (Universal Fast Charge Edition). The Mi Wireless Charger comes with fast charging support with up to 10W, and it will retail in the Chinese market for CNY 69 (approx. Rs 716). The Mi Wireless Charger also comes equipped with safety and protective features which includes temperature protection, short circuit protection, power protection, and over-voltage protection. For phone models like Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X users can expect 7.5W of charging output whereas on phones like Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 the charger will give an output of 10W.

The Xiaomi Mi Wireless Charger features an aluminium alloy built along with a silicone top, and it supports all Qi standard-based devices. It also features a LED indicator that will help the users in knowing the battery percentage at a glance. Additionally, the wireless charging support will be extendable to 4mm of distance meaning that users will be able to charge their phones even with the case on. The protection features on the Mi Wireless Charger will protect your phone from high temperature, over-voltage, and short circuit. In addition to that, the charger comes with built-in protection for foreign objects and high surface temperature.
Pairing the Mi Wireless Charger (Universal Fast Charge Edition) with Quick Charge 2.0 or Quick Charge 3.0 users will be able to expect 7.5W or 10W power respectively, whereas along with a 5V/ 2A or 5V/ 2.4A adapter, the charger will provide 5W power. The Xiaomi Mi Wireless Charger (Universal Fast Charge Edition) supports USB Type-C interface, for which the USB Type-C cable comes bundled within the box. Additionally, the charger also comes with a temperature limit of 40-degree Celsius.

In China, the Xiaomi Mi Wireless Charger (Universal Fast Charge Edition) has been given a price tag of CNY 69. The charger will be available for buying on Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, Tmall, Jingdong, and Suning Tesco. The availability of this device in India also remains unknown as of now.
