Xiaomi Announces Super VIP Monthly Subscription Program for Users Annoyed With Ads in MIUI

Xiaomi is a software company. The Chinese brand started its journey with MIUI back then, but now it's the top smartphone brand in India. Xiaomi's in-house Android skin, MIUI is one of the best feature packed skins out there, but this interface also has some limitations. For example, Xiaomi displays some ads in the system services of MIUI, which is annoying for everyone. Until now, there's no way to disable these ads, but Xiaomi has now announced a Super VIP monthly subscription model which doesn't show any system ads in Xiaomi smartphones. It also offers other benefits such as cloud storage and premium themes.

This subscription model costs Yuan 9.9 (approx. Rs 96) per month or Yuan 88 (approx Rs 886) per year in China. It is unknown whether or when will Xiaomi launch this VIP program in India. The primary aim of this subscription model is to offer ad-free experience. Xiaomi displays some ads in the Chinese MIUI ROM, which will be removed right after opting this subscription.

Also, this VIP pass will give access to 22 exclusive themes, 5GB of cloud storage, and 1000 books per month. For the customers opting the one-year subscription model will get 37 themes, 10GB of free cloud storage, and 1200 books per month.

Being a VIP pass, the subscription is limited to just 10,000 monthly users to this program. The beta program will kick off in China starting today, and the ends on December 31. Xiaomi said that it would accept only 1000 VIP users per day until the end of this year.

That said, there are some things which a Xiaomi user should remember before opting this VIP pass. For example, if you have a lot of Xiaomi phones and every device is logged with the same Xiaomi account, then these benefits can be available on a single smartphone. This is expected, but Xiaomi should come up with any workaround on the same.
