Xiaomi Stocks Over 4 Lakh Redmi 5 Units For Sale Tomorrow

Xiaomi is not going to take the criticism of bringing only a few units for sale every week. For the first time, the Chinese company has confirmed that it will be selling a whopping four lakh units of the Redmi 5 in tomorrow's sale. Xiaomi used to reveal the numbers right after the sale, however, with an increased number of complaints about the company's flash sale model, the company chose to reveal the number ahead of the sale itself. And this could be the first time a brand will be selling four lakh units on a single day and am pretty sure, the device will be out of stock in just a few seconds after the sale commencement. In recent times, a lot of users have complained about Xiaomi's flash sale model claiming it as fake sales as the devices go out of stock in just a few seconds. Then there's that unauthorised selling issue, which Xiaomi has solved by removing the Cash on Delivery payment option.

But some serious questions have raised about Xiaomi's sale numbers. Thanks to those claims, Xiaomi has ramped up the production, and probably they've delayed the launch to achieve this. The Redmi 5's first sale will happen tomorrow on Amazon India at 12 PM.

The Redmi 5 was launched last week at an attractive price of Rs 7,999 for the 2GB RAM variant. The 3GB RAM variant of the Redmi 5 will be available at Rs 8,999, followed by a 4GB RAM variant at Rs 10,999. We suggest you ignore the 4GB RAM variant and get the Redmi Note 5 instead, which is available at Rs 9,999 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

If you're planning to get the Redmi 5, then only choose the 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM variant as they're completely worth the money.

The Redmi 5 packs a 5.7-inch HD display and it's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, coupled with 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. The phone offers a micro USB port at the bottom which can be used to charge the 3300mAh battery.

Cameras in the Redmi 5 include a 12MP rear sensor along with a 5MP front-facing camera with soft LED flash. The device comes with MIUI 9 out of the box which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat and not Android Oreo. Are you going to purchase the Redmi 5 in the first sale tomorrow?
