As it promised earlier, Xiaomi has now released the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM for the recently launched Redmi Y2 and the company’s flagship smartphone, Mi Mix 2. For the users already on the MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM, they’ll receive an OTA update, while others have to install it manually by either downloading the Recovery ROM or Fastboot ROM. Both the methods will format the smartphone including the internal storage. Both the Redmi Y2 and Mi Mix 2 are part of the MIUI 10 Global Beta first phase rollout. Alongside these devices, Xiaomi also rolled out the global beta ROM for the Mi 6, which was not launched in India.
