Xiaomi Redmi S2 With Redmi Note 5 Pro Design Passes TENAA

Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is all set to announce the Xiaomi Mi 6X at an event in China on April 25. The company may also bring a new budget smartphone series the Redmi S2 at the upcoming event. As per the latest reports, Xiaomi is also working on a new ultra-affordable phone with an 18:9 aspect ratio and dual rear cameras that will launch in China and India. Now, the alleged Redmi S2 with a 6-inch display and three RAM/storage variants recently passed China’s certification agency TENAA. The phone comes with the model number M1803E6E which matches that of Redmi S2’s internal codename in the firmware files obtained earlier by XDA developers. The timing of TENAA certification going up also hints the launch of Redmi S2 is happening sooner.
