Xiaomi to Hold Black Friday Sale for the First Time in India, Redmi Note 6 Pro Will Be Available on November 23

Xiaomi is finally bringing the successor of the Redmi Note 5 Pro to India, the Redmi Note 6 Pro. Xiaomi India on Thursday announced the coming of Redmi Note 6 Pro on November 22. Unlike the Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Note 6 Pro comes with four cameras and sleek design. Xiaomi India has now announced that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will go on sale for the first time in India on November 23 via Mi.com and retail partner Flipkart. Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro in other markets like Thailand and Indonesia. The company is finally bringing the phone to India. There are no two thoughts that the Redmi Note 5 Pro was one of the most demanding phones of the year from Xiaomi, and giving the track record of the predecessor, the responsibility on the successor aka Redmi Note 6 Pro increases. Furthermore, Xiaomi also confirmed that it's holding Black Friday sale in India on November 23.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro: Expected Price in India

In other markets, the Redmi Note 6 Pro has been launched under Rs 16,000 price tag and considering India is one of the key markets for Xiaomi, we expect the phone to be priced around Rs 16,000 in the country. Interestingly, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be the first smartphone from Xiaomi with four cameras to come to India.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro sells for a starting price tag of Rs 14,999 in India. The Note 5 Pro comes in two variants in the country. The base model packs 4B RAM and 64GB storage and comes with Rs 14,999, while the second model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced Rs 16,999. For the Redmi Note 6 Pro, Xiaomi has launched the phone in only one model in both Thailand and Indonesia, with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is further expandable up to microSD card. We expect the same model of the phone to come to India as well.

We already know the key specs of the Redmi Note 6 Pro. In compared with the Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Redmi Note 6 Pro isn’t a big upgrade. The areas where the new Redmi phone gets revamped are the screen size, the camera, among others.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro: Specifications and Features

The Redmi Note 6 Pro comes equipped with a notched display. This is the second Redmi phone to have a notch, after the recently launched Redmi 6 Pro. The smartphone sports a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone packs a screen-to-body-ratio of 86%. On the hardware front, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset just like the Redmi Note 5 Pro. As said earlier, the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes in one variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The storage memory is further expandable via microSD card. We expect more variants of the phone to come to India.

Camera is one of the key highlights of the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The phone comes with two cameras on the rear panel and two in the front. The smartphone packs a primary sensor of 12MP with Dual Pixel autofocus and f/1.9 aperture and a secondary sensor of 5MP for depth sensing on the back side. On the front, the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes packed with a main sensor of 20MP with Superpixel, f/2.0 aperture and a secondary sensor of 2MP for dynamic portrait shots. The phone features a massive 4000mAh battery similar to that of the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
