Xiaomi Redmi K20 Series India Launch Scheduled for July 17

The Redmi K20 Pro is the flagship phone from Redmi and it has already debuted in China. The phone is now making its way to India

  • The Redmi K20 Pro will come up with Snapdragon 855 SoC, whereas the Redmi K20 will pack Snapdragon 730
  • Both of these phones will come with triple rear camera setup with 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor

Xiaomi has already made some prominent launches this year for the Indian market. The Chinese OEM manufacturer has launched the Redmi Note 7 series and has witnessed massive success with its smartphones. However, there is one new phone which Xiaomi is going to launch in India, and it is not the Poco or the Xiaomi Mi A series, but instead, it is the flagship phone from Redmi – the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro. Both of these phones have already gone official in China, and the fans in India have been awaiting the launch of these devices. In a new tweet from the Redmi India official Twitter handle, the brand has announced that the Redmi K20 and the K20 Pro will be launched on July 17, 2019.

Launch Date for Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro

The new tweet from Xiaomi reads, “Mi fans, are you ready to take on the K? The #RedmiK20 & #RedmiK20Pro are all set to launch on July 17 2019. Stay tuned to have your minds blown by the Flagship Killer 2.0 #BelieveTheHype RT if you’re excited!” So, as you can see that Xiaomi is finally ready to bring the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro to India after a long wait. There is little about this smartphone now as the phone has already been released in China. But even then, we have to say that Redmi had teased this phone a lot prior to its launch and it will be well worth the wait to see how the Redmi flagship performs and is priced for the Indian subcontinent.

Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro to Come in India After a Long Wait

Initially, the speculations were floating around that the Redmi K20 and its higher variant would debut in India as Poco F2, but later these speculations were dismissed by the company. However, the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro might be rebranded as Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro respectively for other countries. In the price range which the Redmi K20 seems to be targeting, the phone will receive competition from OnePlus 7. But, we will have to see how well Xiaomi is able to crack the market with this phone, given that it has dominated the playing field until now.

Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro Specifications

The Redmi K20 Pro has been hyped as the flagship phone from Redmi, and as such, it packs the specifications to back up that moniker. The phone sports the Snapdragon 855 SoC, whereas its little brother, the Redmi K20 sports the Snapdragon 730 chipset. Apart from the big difference in these chipsets, both the phones are nearly identical. They feature the 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display along with the pop-up selfie camera, a triple rear camera setup consisting of 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, 8MP telephoto lens and a 13MP wide-angle sensor. As for the battery, the devices pack a 4000mAh cell.

Freinds needs urgent help->
One of my friend going to Kuwait for work his primary no is Jio. This no is very important to him. This no. is registered on his 3 bank account, Aadhaar account, mutual fund account, WhatsApp account etc. So can he carry this Jio sim to Kuwait will it work? He don’t wanna loose this no. and he will come to India after 2 years. So suggest me the cheapest way to not loose this no.

Dish Tv

Ask him to put that sim in JioPhone or any spare phone (like I have old lyf phone not in use) and give it to any family member who he trust most (mother/wife/brother) who can also share OTP etc when needed, & do basic recharges..
As of now, Jio is not even closing unreacharged number but a lot can change in two years.

Does this phone support CA??

what will you do of CA with such low internet bandwidth…its better to get medium to low speeds so that internet last for the whole day..rather than getting cA and finishing it in an hour

You will see better plans than this from Jio next year. You will see bandwidth improved more than this. 60Mhz of band 40 will be more than sufficient for most users along with 10Mhz in band 3/5/28 to support it along with coverage. If Jio decides aggressively, you might see all 15Mhz each in band 5/28 which will solve all problems for Jio for next four years. I just hope that Vodafone-Idea participates in auction.

Will surely support 3CA at least going by price between 25000-30000. Don’t know whether band 41 will be supported or not.
