A new phone line-up by Xiaomi might be in the brewing behind the curtains as three new unidentified variants of a phone have been spotted on the Chinese 3C listing website. The 3C is another mandatory certification in China, which is essential before the launch of the phone. The new phone models detailed in the certification are the M1901F7E, M1901F7T and M1901F7C, as reported by Nashville Chatter. Except for these details and a few hints about the three phones, there is nothing more to go on with. The only thing which the certification details is that all the three phones listed on the website come with a 10W charger, so they'll be the upcoming Redmi models.
Redmi 7, Redmi 7A and Redmi 7 Pro Possibly in the Making
This hint by the 3C listing is being speculated upon a lot by the tech world. There have been suggestions that this new listing points towards the next line-up of the Redmi series of smartphones. It is worth noting that except for the ‘Note’ and ‘Pro’ series of Redmi phones, the budget segment smartphones by Xiaomi have come in a set of three. Also, since the previous Redmi 6 series of phones came with 10W charging along with a 10W charger bundled in the box, this might very well be the hint about the new upcoming Redmi 7 series. Also, if this is true, then the three models listed on the 3C website might be the Redmi 7A, Redmi 7 and the Redmi 7 Pro.
Redmi Note 6 for China
A few days ago, two more listings were spotted on the 3C certification website which bore the model name, M1901F9E and M1901F9T. Going by the speculations, these two devices listed are probably the Redmi Note 6, launched with the title of Redmi Note 6 Pro in India. Since Xiaomi has launched the phone in India and not in China yet, this certification could be the hint that two variants are of the Redmi Note 6 which are to be launched in China soon. Also, since most phones which debuted this year come with the M18 code by Xiaomi, these two listings suggest that the two variants will be launched sometime in 2019.
Speaking of official announcements, there has been no update from Xiaomi about the Redmi 7 series yet. However, if the speculations are to believed, then there will be three variants of the new phone like it has been the case previously with the Redmi 6 series. Also, if the listings point in the right directions, then the speculations are going to be confirmed via the TENAA listings and other sources. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 6 will be launched in China with the same specifications except for the select firmware changes.
