Xiaomi is working on three new smartphones to launch in the beginning of next year. Late last week, TENNA listing showed that three Redmi phones with codenames M1901F7E, M1901F7T and M1901F7C are in the works. Although Xiaomi is yet to confirm the names of these phones, rumours say they could be the successors to the Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6 Pro. This otherwise means that the three new phones spotted on TENNA are most likely Redmi 7A, Redmi 7 and Redmi 7 Pro. The TENNA listing, sadly, didn’t reveal a lot of details about the upcoming Redmi 7 series, but it did reveal the battery size, screen size, and dimensions of the Redmi 7 Pro. But now the same TENNA listing has been updated revealing more details of the Redmi 7 Pro. The listing shows that the Redmi 7 Pro will indeed be a much-improved version of the Redmi 6 Pro. The phone, the TENNA listing reveals, will come with dual cameras on the back and a maximum of 128GB storage option.

It shows that the Redmi 7 Pro will come with a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels and will be powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core processor. The TENNA listing shows the phone in three several RAM and storage options.

The Redmi 7 Pro is expected to come in three RAM options including 3GB, 4GB, or 6GB. The phone will also come in three storage variants including 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, which will be expandable by up to 256GB via microSD card. As far as the other specifications are concerned, the Redmi 7 Pro is expected to come with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It will run MIUI 10.

On the camera front, the TENNA listing suggests that the Redmi 7 Pro will include a dual camera setup on the back with the primary sensor of 12MP. The listing further reveals that the upcoming Redmi 7 Pro will have dimensions of 147.76x71.89x7.8mm and will be backed by a 2900mAh battery. The battery capacity is underwhelming as the Redmi 6 Pro had a 4000mAh battery and it's one of the best battery smartphones available currently. In addition, the Redmi 7 Pro is said to weigh 150 grams, meaning it will sport a plastic back.

Alongside the specifications, some of the pictures of the Redmi 7 Pro have also been leaked. The photos reveal that the smartphone will come with waterdrop notch and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone.
