Xiaomi will be launching the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China on March 18. The smartphone made its global debut in India last month and launched for a starting price of Rs 13,999. Fresh details coming from Redmi President suggests that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a “new product” which some rumours hint could be long time rumoured Redmi 7. In addition to the Redmi President, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has also revealed some specs and expected pricing details about the Redmi 7. Redmi President Lu Weibing in one of his latest Weibo post noted that alongside the Redmi Note 7 Pro the company is preparing to launch a new product.

Weibing didn’t confirm the name of the new product, but with rumours and leaks of the Redmi 7 flooding, the internet looks like the phone may go official at the same event as the Note 7 Pro in China. As of now, the company is looking to launch the Redmi 7 just in China, and so far there are no reports about its India launch.
