Xiaomi has started teasing yet another launch event to be held in China on June 25. Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be launching the mid-range Redmi 6 Pro smartphone and the much-awaited Mi Pad 4 tablet- the successor to the Mi Pad 3 that was launched in April 2017. The Redmi 6 Pro will be company's first Redmi phone with a notch, after the Mi 8, Mi 8 SE and Mi 8 Explorer Edition. The presence of notch is confirmed by Xiaomi itself. Look closely at the teaser, it has 19 & 9 numerical, which clearly is enough to confirm the presence of a 19:9 notched display on the Redmi 6 Pro. Coming to the Mi Pad 4 teaser, Xiaomi did not reveal any such features, instead, it confirmed that the tablet would have a single rear camera as it rumoured in the past.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Rumoured Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has already received TENAA certification which spilled the entire spec-sheet of the handset. Going by the TENAA listing, the Redmi 6 Pro will have a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 × 2280 pixels. There's no point on why Xiaomi is adopting notched display in a Redmi phone as the device even has a massive chin. Design wise, the Redmi 6 Pro will look similar to the earlier released Xiaomi Redmi devices with 18:9 displays, but it will boast a notch on top.

Hardware wise, we don't have any information related to the processor, but the phone is confirmed to come in 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM option along with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage. There will be a microSD card slot as well for storage expansion up to 256GB. The Redmi 6 Pro sports dual rear cameras- a 12MP primary sensor working in tandem with a 5MP secondary sensor. Up front, there might be an 8MP shooter.

The smartphone will be backed by a 4000mAh, thankfully. It's also confirmed to have a micro USB port at the bottom and an IR Blaster on top.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Rumoured Specifications
Xiaomi also confirmed that it's going to launch the Mi Pad 4 tablet in China on the same day- June 25. At the moment, we don't have any related information about the handset, aside from the single camera setup as shown in the teaser. The Mi Pad 4 could have the same unimetal body design as its predecessor Mi Pad 3. This time around, Xiaomi might add stereo speaker setup to the tablet. Also, the tablet is said to come with a 6000mAh battery with 5V/2A charging input.

Xiaomi is also said to launch an LTE variant of the Mi Pad 4. It's unknown when both these devices will be coming to the Indian market or any market outside China, but we may not see the release of Redmi 6 Pro in India.
