Xiaomi Redmi 5A aka Desh Ka Smartphone will be up for sale at 12 PM exclusively on Flipkart today. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A is one of the best smartphones from the company to be launched last year and the Chinese vendor already sold over 8 million devices with the device being the best-seller for Xiaomi during June quarter, according to Canalys. With the help of the Redmi 5A itself, Xiaomi managed to retain its position as India's leading smartphone brand as Samsung has hit back at Xiaomi very strongly last quarter. Today' sale is exclusively on Flipkart and the company will be selling two variants of the Redmi 5A. The base variant of the Redmi 5A with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with the premium variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage will be available for purchase during today's sale.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi Redmi 5A is the cheapest product from the house of Xiaomi, but it boasts of excellent specifications for the asking price. The Redmi 5A flaunts a 5-inch HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC. The phone comes in two variants with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage.

The Redmi 5A is currently running Android Nougat-based MIUI 9 ROM. The phone is armed with 3000mAh battery and comes with a single 13MP shooter on the rear followed by a single 5MP shooter on the front. It offers support for 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and a Micro USB port. The phone also features a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The reason behind the Redmi 5A' success in India is its pricing. Aforesaid, the phone comes in two variants with the base variant priced at Rs 5,999 and the premium variant costs Rs 6,999.
