Ever since Xiaomi took the wraps off its flagships - the Mi MIX and Mi Note 2, many Indian fans have been waiting for the devices. Both the devices come with power-packed specs under a relaxed budget. Interestingly, this is not the first time that Xiaomi has delayed or skipped launching its flagship level devices in India. The company did the same with Mi Note and Mi Note Pro. Even the Mi 5 was launched after months of delay. Xiaomi is still keeping mum about the launch of Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus in India.

To recap, the Mi Note 2 comes with a 5.7-inch 1080p dual curved OLED screen, which resembles Samsung’s edge display but on both the sides. It is powered by a 64-bit 2.35GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 Performance Edition chipset. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top. It sports a 22.56MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX258 sensor. For connectivity, it supports Fingerprint sensor, Infrared sensor, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. A 4070mAh battery backs the device.

On the other hand, the Mi MIX is a limited edition concept phone. The main highlight of the Mi MIX is its bezel-less 6.4-inch display, which looks amazing in images. It is embodied in Ceramic body clubbed with piezoelectric acoustic ceramic earpiece speaker that creates vibration under the glass for producing audio. It comes powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM. A 4400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 backs the device. The phone sports a 16-megapixel rear snapper with PDAF along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port. The Mi MIX is most likely to stay limited to Xiaomi's homeland.
