After becoming India's top smartphone brand, Xiaomi has now set its eye on the Indian television market. Today, Xiaomi has announced two new Mi TV models int the Indian market- the Mi TV 4A 32-inch and the Mi TV 4A 43-inch. The former is priced at Rs 13,999, while the latter comes at Rs 22,999. Compared to same display size models from other brands, the 32-inch models start around Rs 25,000, whereas the 43-inch models start at over Rs 38,000. So clearly Xiaomi has an advantage over the other brands such as LG, Samsung, Sony, etc. Also, Xiaomi is offering Rs 2,200 instant cashback on the purchase of JioFi hotspot device with the new TV models.

The Mi TV 4A 43-inch model features a Full HD screen with slim bezels all around it. The 32-inch model comes with a display resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels but has slightly thicker bezels on the front.

Both the models are powered by 64-bit Amlogic quad-core processors and comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage. Xiaomi also stated that they're adding Dobly Atmos and 20W speakers, especially for the Indian market. Both the TV models offer dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and run the much-hyped Xiaomi's PatchWall interface based on Android.

This is the best part of these TVs. Xiaomi has customised its PatchWall TV interface exclusively for the Indian users. It offers a lot of content from online players such as Sony LIV, Hungama Play, Voot etc. However, Xiaomi is not allowing users to stream Amazon Prime Video and Netflix on these TVs, maybe the company is looking for an exclusive partnership with them. But nothing is known at the moment. Also, Xiaomi's 11-button Mi Remote comes in handy as it allows users to search content in both online and STB or cable operator at the same time.

The PatchWall interface is something which makes these TVs differ from the competition. And then we have that pricing. Xiaomi also said that they'd be bringing adequate stocks of these Mi TVs to the Indian market as they know that there will be a massive demand for these TVs. Also, Xiaomi will conduct two sales every week of these new TVs. Both the new models will be available on Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores starting March 28.

With their 'Honest Pricing' strategy, Xiaomi has already launched the flagship Mi LED TV 4 in India at Rs 39,999 last month. And these new smaller TV models will take the company to a new level in the Indian market.
