Xiaomi Launches 4 New Mi TVs in India Including a Massive 65-inch Model, Prices Start at Rs 17,999

Xiaomi India announced four new Mi TV models in India at the company's Smarter Living 2020 event. Xiaomi also said that it sold more than three million Mi TVs in India since its first Mi TV launch last year. The Chinese company has announced a massive 65-inch Mi TV model in the country and it's the costliest Smart TV launched by the company so far. Also, there are three more Mi TV models which also ship with Android TV and 4K panels. Similar to the earlier launched Mi TVs, the new Mi TVs also boot PatchWall 2.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie platform. Furthermore, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video apps will be pre-installed inside the new Mi TVs which Xiaomi launched today. The new 65-inch Mi TV 4X has a 4K HDR 10 panel with Vivid Picture Engine display technology and 20W speakers.




Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 65-inch Launched in India: Specifications and Features

The Mi TV 4X 65-inch model has a 4K HDR 10-bit display with 3840 by 2160 pixels resolution. The new Mi TV model also comes with upgraded 20W speakers. Also, Xiaomi says the TV has a Vivid Picture Engine which makes it the best display out there in the market. The flagship Mi TV model also has a Reality Flow Engine which refreshes visuals at 60fps and shows them smoothly. For the unaware, most of the broadcaster and streaming content comes in 24fps visuals.

As for the sound enhancements, there' support for DTS HD and Dolby Audio. Hardware side of things, the Mi TV 4X 65-inch is powered by quad-core Cortex A55 processor and the connectivity options include Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 5.0.

The latest Smart TV from Xiaomi has PatchWall UI 2.0 on top of Android 9.0 Pie. Yes, the new Mi TV model comes with Android 9.0 Pie TV platform out of the box. Xiaomi says PatchWall 2.0 offers more than seven lakh hours of content. The TV also comes pre-installed with new OTT apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video with full PatchWall integration.

Xiaomi Also Launched Two More 4K Mi TVs in India

Alongside the Mi TV 4X 65-inch, Xiaomi also launched two new 4K Mi TV models in the country. The Mi TV 4X 43-inch and 50-inch models now ship with a 4K HDR 10-bit panel, 20W speakers and PatchWall 2.0. These two models also come with Android 9.0 Pie, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video pre-installed.

Lastly, Xiaomi also brought a Mi TV 4X 40-inch model to the Indian market and it features a Full HD display, Vivid Picture Engine, 20W speakers with DTS-HD, PatchWall 2.0 and a new Data Saver feature.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 65-inch: Pricing and Availability in India

Moving onto the pricing, Xiaomi nailed it yet again, as always. The Mi TV 4X 65-inch model will be available for purchase at Rs 54,999, but it's an introductory price for the television and the price may increase after the festive season. The Mi TV 4X 50-inch model with 4K display will be available for Rs 29,999 and the 43-inch 4X model will be available for Rs 24,999. Lastly, the Mi TV 4X 40-inch model can be picked up for just Rs 17,999.

All the four Mi TVs will be available for purchase on September 29 for the first time. Xiaomi also announced a new Black coloured version of the Mi Soundbar and it can now be controlled via a dedicated remote.
