The Mi Mix arrived with a 6.4-inch near bezel-less display with an unusual 17:9 aspect ratio. However, with the Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi went with the trend of 18:9 display.

Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 features ceramic body at the back, which makes the device more sturdier than the metal-bodied smartphones. Up front, the Mi Mix 2 has a gorgeous 5.9-inch Full HD+ display, carrying a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels.

Internally, the Mi Mix 2 has the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, mated with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There's the Adreno 540 GPU to handle graphics-intensive tasks.

Optics wise, the Mi Mix 2 comes with a single 12MP sensor, which is the same sensor used in the Xiaomi Mi 6. The rear camera has 4-axis Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and f/2.0 aperture. Xiaomi has added a 5MP front-facing camera in the Mix 2, which is present at the bottom of the phone.

The Mix 2 has support for 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Sadly, Xiaomi has ditched the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack in the smartphone, in favour of the USB Type-C audio.

The smartphone runs Android Nougat based MIUI 9 and is backed by a 3400mAh battery. The phone has all the sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Indian Price and Availability

Xiaomi has priced the Mi Mix 2 at Rs. 35,999 in the Indian market. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart. The phone will be available as a preview sale on Flipkart on October 17.
