The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch Full HD display carrying a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels, which is same as the one seen on the Xiaomi Mi 5. The phone will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC aided with either 4GB/6GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The Mi 6 might feature the higher clocked version of the Snapdragon 835 chipset.

The major rumor of all the leaks is about the camera. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is rumored to use the same camera sensor as the Xperia XZ Premium, which comes with special features such as 960fps super slow motion video capture. Up front, there will be a 5MP shooter to take care of the selfies and video calls.

Xiaomi might bump the battery capacity to 3400mAh in the Mi 6 and the phone will boot Android Nougat based MIUI 9.0 out-of-the-box. Also, Xiaomi is planning to launch the phone in various storage options such as 32GB/128GB/256GB. The phone will feature a standard fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button of the phone. Xiaomi is not looking to integrate the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner in the Mi 6, which was previously used in the Xiaomi Mi 5s.
