It looks like the upcoming global smartphone from Xiaomi, which was to be unveiled before then world on April 23 in India, will be named as the Mi 4i. According to new entries in the GeekBench and Singapore's regulatory website, the new smartphone is named as the Xiaomi Mi 4i, and will feature a Snapdragon 615 processor with 64-bit octa-core CPU.
The Xiaomi Mi 4i is expected to feature a 4.9-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel secondary camera, and Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. There is a large probability that the Mi 4i will be a dual-SIM smartphone, unlike the Xiaomi Mi 4.
The device is codenamed as Ferrari, and will slotted between the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and the Xiaomi Mi 4. Xiaomi still hasn't revealed its plans about bringing the high-end Mi Note and the Mi Note Pro devices to India.
