After starting the sales of the Redmi Note 4G on Flipkart and Airtel stores, Xiaomi is bringing back the Mi 3 in India, but for just one day. The Xiaomi Mi 3 will be available on Flipkart on the Republic Day (the 26th of January 2015), but only to a set of registered users.
Those who intend to buy the Mi 3 will have to share the official announcement from Mi India and tag at least three friends, visit this page at 12PM on the 26th of January, submit their Flipkart registered email IDs, and then log in to Flipkart at 5PM on the same day. If the users were fast enough to sign up, they would see a Xiaomi Mi 3 in their carts.

Prior to this, the Mi 3 was on sale in October, when 25,000 units of the device were sold. Till now, Xiaomi and Flipkart have been successful in selling around 95,000 units of the Mi 3 in India. The device is priced at Rs. 13,999, and features a 5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13-megapixel primary camera with 1080p video recording, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v5, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
