The speculations say that the phone might be the Redmi Pro 2, whereas some of the recent ones have asserted that this phone might be the Redmi X.

Device to Come in Many Colour Options

The CEO has also reportedly confirmed that the phone would sport 2.5D glass on the rear side with gradient finish which will give impressive aesthetics to the device. On the back side, we also get to see the circular fingerprint sensor placed in the middle, and the lower rear side of the phone contains the Redmi branding. Oppo sub brand realme, Asus and Honor doing well in previous year . Xiaomi nothing doing much for their redmi series. Redmi note series also not attracting customers.
There is nothing in their successor series. Dew drop notch by realmi, gorilla glass 6 by Asus, innovative and attractive AI camera phones by honor, these brands are grabbing market share of xiaomi day by day and I’ll not surprise if xiaomi loose its market share like Nokia in coming months. Xiaomi should know that price cut will not attract much customers unless they have great specifications.

Lol, and still they are selling much more than Asus and Honor…
Asus can’t sell the max Pro m1 even after selling it at Rock bottom prices…

Asus product was far from perfect. Now it has got updated so much times and reduced battery drain at idle times. That’s why they were not successful. On the other hand, Xiaomi released phone in Nougat and updated it to Oreo. Even after having stock android Asus team is not able to update it to Android P. Not even their flagship Zenfone 5Z was unable to give updates despite of being good phone. Also all three phones have different camera setups. No band 41 support is also the reason behind not selling that well.

If you flash the Rom,it’s better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Also they took too much time for launching 6GB variant.

Honor and Huawei tries to compete with Samsung in this segment. They think that they are premium brand. But it’s not. Honor launched great phone last year in the form Id Honor View 10 and Honor 7X but they were short of One Plus 5T/One Plus 6 and Redmi Note 5 Pro/Redmi Note 4. They have overpriced their phones by 25% in my honest opinion. If they reduce their prices than they will be lot successful tha Xiaomi. They can use snapdragon chipsets under 20000 categories.

Agree to Nikhil, rest of brand trying something new with an effective price but xiaomi only make phones with old configs. Xiaomi should learn from Asus & Honor.

Xiaomi will come back strongly this year. Don’t worry about it.

Never bro, you are waiting for redmi note 7 pro with better chipset.
Mark my words, xiaomi will offer same (slightly better than 636)chipset in their upcoming redmi note 7 Pro and redmi note 8 Pro like Rmn 5 pro & Rmn6 Pro. (sd 636). Nothing upgrade, only notch and that also wide notch. New brands offering dew drop notch under 10 K and xiaomi selling same dish by different name.

Both Realme 1 and Realme 2 Pro didnt sold that well despite of being good value to price ratio. Only reason is color OS. Apart from that its fine. They should have kept prices of Realme 2 Pro a bit aggressive. There is no place for 6GB+64GB model in India. Either launch 4/64 or 6/128. I hope everyone understands this sooner. Eagerly waiting to see Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro 4/64 under 17000 with snapdragon 675/710.
