We’re Moving To A New Server! Expect Some Downtime

Follow Us

In case you hadn’t noticed, we’ve grown pretty rapidly over the last two year or so.We now get an average visits of over 502,426 unique visitors/month and over 794,977 page views/month.If we compare this to the same time last year, the improvements are plain to see.

October 2009:135,472 unique visitors

October 2010:393,958+ unique visitors and growing ...

And October isn’t even over yet! :) Put differently: Yesterday we did almost as many pageviews in one! day as we did in the whole month of August 2009 :D

Why are we telling you all this?

As wonderful as that is,hard disk space was getting crowded and memory during busy times has caused hiccups in the system our servers have taken a beating so we’ve decided its time to make a move and we’re doing it right now (in fact, on reading this, its likely we’ve already moved).

The new server is a dedicated server, so no sharing. So if you can't get on, you know why. Once switched over and running, you will notice a significant improvement in performance.

How does this affect you?

Well, because of the move it’s likely you’ll notice a – more than your normal – amount of strange behaviour on the site over the next 62 hours. We’ve had readers already complaining know that the mobile version of the TT was not loading for them – we’ve had to disable the mobile site temporarily ...so things like that.

On a better note, you’ll notice the site is MUCH faster to load once the transfer to new server take place and i promise you that the mobile version of the TT will be back as soon as the restoration takes place and more feature will be added.

Most importantly…

We need your prayers and blessings hope everything will move smoothly.Thank you so much for making TelecomTalk one of your online hut.Expect more news from us soon, but for now, we look forward to continuing to grow with you!I appreciate your patience. For time being you can also check our Beta portal telecomtalk.net
