Vodafone’s All New Super Plan 179 Gives Unlimited 2G Data and Voice Calls for 28 Days

After announcing the Vodafone Super Plan of Rs 176 in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Vodafone today launched the same plan for its users in Bihar & Jharkhand region, allowing them to enjoy the benefits of unlimited voice calling and data. In our previous article, we quoted that Vodafone might launch the Super Plan in other regions too very soon, and here is the first region to get the plan.

That said, apart from the price of the plan, the benefits remain the same. The Vodafone Super Plan 179 is valid for 28 days and gives unlimited voice calls including national calls and unlimited 2G data.

Voice calls are limited to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week, and a customer can make calls to only 300 unique numbers during the validity period. After the FUP of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week, calls will be charged at 30 paise per minute.

Vodafone, in the press statement, did not mention any FUP for the 2G data usage though. The Vodafone Super Plan 176 in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh caps the 2G data usage to 1GB per day, but it seems like there’s no restriction in Bihar & Jharkhand region.

The Vodafone Super Plan packs are available across all retail outlets in Bihar & Jharkhand. Customers can also avail this recharge through My Vodafone app.

Vodafone has been aggressively launching new tariff plans every day and is competing with incumbent telecom operators. This plan is aimed at other telecom operators plans such as Rs 199 from Airtel and Idea Cellular. Vodafone also has a Rs 199 tariff plan that offers 1GB 3G/4G data, and unlimited voice calls for 28 days. Sadly, the agenda of Vodafone Super Plans is to provide 2G data for customers.
