India's one of the leading telecom operator, Vodafone has changed 'Relationship Number' for each customer in the Postpaid segment across all the circles. To enlighten you, a relationship number is a unique number that is assigned to each customer, for identification purposes. It reflects on the top left corner of the customer's bill. It varies in length, for individual accounts it comes in 9 digits, and in 16 digits for corporate accounts. The number is useful to Postpaid customers as it serves as a compulsory information when someone pays his bill through cheque or lodges a complaint regarding billing.

When contacted, an executive from Vodafone's Postpaid help desk confirmed that the new relationship number has been included in the latest bill. Few weeks ago, Vodafone upgraded its billing system for Postpaid users to offer better services. As a part of system upgradations, the company has also changed the relationship number for all customers as per their bill plans and usage. Vodafone is also informing the users about the new relationship numbers through bills and SMS, which means that the user can now use the unique number for an exclusive treatment.

If you're a Vodafone Postpaid customer, check your November bill or call the customer care to get your unique relationship number.
