Telecom operator Vodafone India has now rolled out a new cashback in collaboration with Transsion Holdings brand Tecno Mobiles. Under the offer, Vodafone will be offering cashback offers worth Rs 2,200 on the purchase of the newly introduced Tecno Camon i series of 4G handsets (earlier launched Tecno mobiles are eligible as well). Also, Tecno mobile users on Vodafone network can enjoy free subscription of Vodafone Play for three months. This exclusive cashback offer is valid from March 14, 2018, to June 30, 2018. Both the existing and new Vodafone users can avail this cashback offer.

Vodafone prepaid customers purchasing the Tecno Camon i or Camon i Air smartphones under Camon i series are eligible for this offer. The cashback offer is also applicable on Tecno Mobiles 4G smartphones such as Tecno i3, i3 Pro, i5, i5 Pro and Tecno i7 priced between Rs 6,990 and Rs 14,990. The cashback amount is also the same for all the phones.

After purchasing the handset, these users have to recharge with Rs 150 per month for 18 months to earn a cashback of Rs 900. If the customers continue recharging the same amount for the next 18 months, they'll receive another cashback of Rs 1,300, which makes the total cashback amount as Rs 2,200. The cashback will be credited to their Vodafone M-Pesa wallets.

Having said that, there's no Rs 150 tariff plan from Vodafone at the moment. Vodafone says that the recharge amount per month should be Rs 150 and that should be done only once, meaning a user must recharge with Rs 150 at one go to be eligible for the offer.

As stated, Vodafone is also providing free Vodafone Play subscription for three months for the Tecno smartphone users. However, the Vodafone Play premium membership is free for all the Vodafone users until June 31, 2018, so there isn't anything new here.

Vodafone Play currently has over 300 Live TV channels, more than 10,000 movies, 50+ international premium movies and 16 mobile web series.

Tecno Mobiles, back in January 2018 introduced the Camon i Air smartphone as a photography smartphone, and in early February 2018, it introduced Tecno Camon i Air with slightly downgraded specifications. All the other smartphones were launched last year by the company. Vodafone introduced this offer to compete with Reliance JioFootball offer.
