Vodafone Smart 3G, Android Smartphone Now For Rs.3100

In an attempt to increase adoption of 3G service in India, country's 2nd largest mobile service provider, Vodafone has reduced the price of its Android, 3G handset Vodafone Smart from Rs.4995 to Rs.3100.




Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor and Google’s Android 2.2.1 OS (Froyo), ‘Vodafone Smart’ comes with attractive features like 2.8 inch capacitive touch display, 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU, 2 mega pixel camera with Geo-tagging, WiFi, Video recording and MP4/3GP playback, up to 32GB expandable Memory (2GB card Free), Stereo FM and MP3.

The handset was launched in India in December, 2011 for Rs.4995 with bundled offer of Double Data Benefit on their 3G subscription.The handset is manufactured by Huawei for Vodafone.
