Vodafone has a wide-range of unlimited prepaid plans in its portfolio. Starting at Rs 199 per month, the UK-based telco is offering unlimited combo plans up to Rs 1,999 (in Kerala only). And the validity of plans ranges between 28-365 days. Sitting between the Rs 199 and Rs 229 prepaid plans is the Rs 209 plan that offers 1.6GB daily data. Not only in terms of price, but the Rs 209 plan benefits also sit between the Rs 199 and Rs 229 prepaid plans of Vodafone. While the Rs 199 prepaid recharge offers 1.5GB daily data, the Rs 209 plan comes with 1.6GB daily data benefit for the same 28 days. Almost all the plans of Vodafone priced under Rs 250 are monthly plans, meaning they ship with benefits for a period of 28 days.

Vodafone Rs 209 Prepaid Plan: Benefits and Validity

Very recently, Vodafone has confirmed that it wants to cover all the price brackets in the prepaid segment and it’s the reason behind the introduction of Rs 20 talk time & validity extension recharge. Aforesaid, the Rs 209 prepaid plan sits right between the Rs 199 and Rs 229 prepaid recharges, both in terms of pricing and benefits. The Rs 209 prepaid plan ships with 1.6GB daily data, as compared to the 1.5GB daily data benefit of Rs 199 plan. So the Rs 229 plan offers a total of 44.8GB data for a month which is 28 days. On the flip side, Vodafone’s Rs 199 plan is providing customers 42GB of data. So if the additional 2.8GB data benefit matters for you, then you can consider the Rs 209 prepaid plan.

Other benefits of the Rs 229 plan include unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit and 100 SMSes per day for 28 days. No other telco in the industry is offering a Rs 209 prepaid plan, so it’s a unique plan from Vodafone. In some circles, Idea has the same prepaid recharge, but Vodafone’s plan is an open market one.

Vodafone Unlimited Combo Prepaid Plans Under Rs 250 Detailed

Under Rs 250, Vodafone has four unlimited combo prepaid plans of Rs 169, Rs 199, Rs 209 and Rs 229. All these plans are separated by pricing as the data benefit becomes better with increasing price. The Rs 169 prepaid recharge offers a user 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMSes per day for a month or 28 days. The Rs 199 plan ships with 1.5GB daily data, Rs 209 plan offers 1.6GB daily data and the Rs 229 plan comes with 2GB daily data benefit. The three plans- Rs 199, Rs 209 and Rs 229 also ship with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMSes per day for 28 days.

Another plan which is around Rs 250 price range is the recently revised Rs 255 plan. Vodafone is offering a total of 70GB data benefit spread across 2.5GB data per day for 28 days with the Rs 255 plan. Under Rs 300, the company also has a Rs 299 prepaid plan in some circles that offers benefits for a period of 70 days. That said, the benefits of the Rs 299 prepaid plan from Vodafone are not impressive, but the validity of the plan is decent.

Bharti Airtel just has three plans around Rs 250 price range- Rs 169, Rs 199 and Rs 249, whereas Vodafone has five plans- Rs 169, Rs 199, Rs 209, Rs 229 and Rs 249.
