Vodafone’s revision on its prepaid plans are not unheard of now in the market. The telecom operator is constantly tweaking its plans to match the demand of consumers. The operator has now revised the Rs 399 prepaid plan, and under these changes, it has brought down the data benefit of the plan, while at the same time extending the validity by a bit. On a related note, the telco has also introduced a new Rs 396 prepaid plan which offers very similar benefit as the previous Rs 399 plan. The new Rs 396 prepaid plan offers 1.4GB daily data with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. The plan comes with a validity of 69 days. Additional benefits include free access to the Vodafone Play application.

Vodafone Rs 396 Prepaid Plan: Benefits and Validity

The Rs 396 prepaid plan from Vodafone comes as a replacement to the Rs 399 plan which offered benefits for 70/84 days. It ships unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit since Vodafone Idea has removed the limit on voice calling. The plan also offers 1.4GB data per day and 100 SMS per day for 69 days from the date of recharge. Vodafone customers will also get access to Vodafone Play application which is the telco's content app with over 5,000 movies and 300+ Live TV channels. The Vodafone Play app can be downloaded from Google Play Store for free.

Vodafone Revised Rs 399 Prepaid Plan Recently

To recall, a couple of weeks ago, telcos such as Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea revised the Rs 399 prepaid plan. The revised Rs 399 plan from Vodafone offers 1GB data per day, which is down from the older 1.4GB data per day benefit. The plan now offers benefits for 84 days to every prepaid customer.

Earlier, the open market Rs 399 prepaid plan offered 1.4GB data per day, unlimited voice calling with a cap and 100 SMS per day for 70 days and the same plan was valid for 84 days for some Vodafone prepaid customers. The all-new Rs 396 prepaid plan is similar to the older Rs 399 prepaid plan with just one day less benefit.

As of now, the Rs 396 prepaid plan is valid only to select users in select circles like Delhi and Mumbai. You can check out for the plan's availability on your mobile number via Vodafone website or mobile app.

Vodafone Idea Removes FUP Limit on Voice Calling

Yesterday, we reported that Vodafone Idea has done away with the FUP limit on voice calling starting January 10. For the unaware, Vodafone Idea's unlimited prepaid combo plans come with so-called unlimited calling benefit, but the telco restricts the voice calls to 250 minutes per day and 10000 minutes per week. That said, the restriction is now more as the telco wants to take on Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. While Jio introduced the concept of unlimited voice calling, it was soon followed by Bharti Airtel back at the end of 2017.
