Top telecom operators in India are trying their best to grab new subscribers with attractive tariff plans on offer. Vodafone India has now come up with a few new plans in select circles, and the benefits are in-line with the Reliance Jio’s new tariff plans. These new tariff plans are applicable in AP & Telangana, Bihar & Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh circles as per the company’s website. The plans are Rs 459, Rs 409, and Rs 349.
The Rs 459 tariff plan from Vodafone offers unlimited voice calls, unlimited data (no FUP mentioned) and 100 SMS per day for 91 days. The other two plans- Rs 409 and Rs 349 also gives the same benefits, but the validity of the plans is 84 days and 70 days respectively.
Aforesaid, Vodafone did not mention any daily data FUP with these plans. We presume that the data offered with these plans is 2G data, and not 4G or 3G. Vodafone is also offering the same Rs 459 plan in Himachal Pradesh circle which clearly mentions unlimited 2G data for 91 days. Also, there’s no FUP for the 2G data offered by Vodafone though.
In other circles such as Mumbai, Chennai, etc. Vodafone has some plans with similar benefits. The Rs 509 tariff plan gives 1GB 3G/4G data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day for 91 days, the Rs 459 plan gives same benefits for 84 days, the Rs 399 plan offers similar benefits for 70 days, and lastly, the Rs 357 pack gives 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls for 28 days.
Also, to be noted is Vodafone limiting the voice calls to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week with all these plans. Vodafone has confirmed to roll out VoLTE service in several major circles by the end of this month. Hopefully, after the VoLTE rolls out, the company makes the voice calls unlimited without any FUP limit. Also, Vodafone India’s merger with Idea Cellular is expected to be completed by April 2018, much ahead of the earlier expected time.

I am using both vodafone and jio. Vodafone 4g is good for nothing, why, it always change to 3g 4g even 2g, but jio always 4g , even slow speed is good.
I told here many times to change the network mode to 3G only instead of all 3 auto. Understood?.
But that consumes too much battery because fluctuations happen due to low signal strength.
3G mode is better than 2G / 3G / 4G auto mode.
If 3G signal strength is good auto mode will work otherwise any only mode will drain battery.
*2G. LOL India is still not ready for 4G britt robbers mentality. 🙂
It can’t be 2G. The author has not verified this properly. I keep saying this but I’ll repeat it anyway – To, TT: Please confirm the news and then publish the article.
Fed up with indoor coverage of jio. Now just Waiting for the Vodafone – idea merger.
Lol. You’re commenting same thing in every post. If Jio don’t suit you, you can port.. I am planning to recharge jio for a year (149 pack x 12/13 with 50 cashback for every recharge, effective 99rs per month). Plan queue in jio is a superrrrrrrr duperrrrrr facility….
how will we get 50 cash back on 149 recharge amount.
Use Amazon and pay via AmazonPay balance, check offer info, now you will get 50% cashback up to rs 50 for any recharge. (Max cashback Rs 50 per account)
Can we get 50 cashback for 149 recharge.
With 149 plan , you won’t get 50 cashback.
U can’t used 50 rupee voucher…
If u rch 300 or more then u use it…
How does it work? For me i am not able to select the voucher while recharging anything less than 300RS.
I have done the same. But 50? cashback using the vouchers, is not applicable for 149? recharge. Only applicable for higher recharges
You won’t get that in Rs149 recharge.
Better recharge Rs399 plan to get Rs50 off using voucher in MyJio.
Yes. The indoor coverage of 2300 MHz band sucks. But the speed in the 1800 MHz even full signal is 5 to 6 Mbps each for upload and download.
