Vodafone Idea (Vi) has once again further increased the data benefits bundled with its prepaid plans in specific circles without an increase in tariff. Although there is no reduction in tariff, in an indirect way, the benefits bundled with the plans have increased. For example, for Rs 10, customers previously received 6 hours of free data, but after a revision, for the same Rs 10, the pack now offers 12 hours of free data. This kind of revision clearly provides more benefits for the same value, though only the telco can clarify whether it considers this a tariff reduction or bundling more value for customers, as claimed by the telco's senior executive recently.

Super Hero and Hero Packs
To understand this revision in tariffs, let's go back to last year. In December 2024, Vi introduced Super Hero benefits in Maharashtra, New Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Punjab, and Haryana, while in other circles, the plans offered Hero benefits.
What is the Super Hero Pack? Super Hero packs provide prepaid customers in the aforementioned circles with unlimited data for half a day, from 12 AM to 12 Noon. In the other circles, Vi did not announce or introduce any changes at that time, as customers in those areas already enjoy Hero benefits.
So, what are Hero benefits? These packs offer free unlimited data access between 12 AM and 6 AM, along with other free benefits. You can check more about these benefits in the story linked below. In summary, 8 circles also enjoy Super Hero benefits, while other circles continue to enjoy Hero benefits.

Revision to Hero Benefits in January 2025
Now, moving to the New Year, January 2025, Vi revised its Hero plan and introduced the Non-Stop Hero Offer, or Hero Unlimited Packs, which offer full-day unlimited data. As of this writing, Vi has not made any official announcement about the launch of this benefit. However, according to the website, the Full-Day unlimited data benefits are live in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kolkata, Maharashtra and Goa, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The Unlimited Data offer is not available in Assam, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, North East, and Odisha.
With this new Hero Unlimited data benefit, customers can enjoy unlimited data throughout the day. In circles where Super Hero packs are available, Hero packs also coexist, allowing customers to choose the pack that suits their needs. For instance, circles such as Mumbai, Punjab, UP East, and UP West offer both Super Hero and Hero benefits.

Vi Non-Stop Hero Packs FUP
According to the terms and conditions of the Vi Non-Stop Hero Packs, this offer is intended solely for personal and non-commercial use. Data usage exceeding 300GB within 28 days is classified as commercial usage. Customers can utilise up to 300GB on Vi 4G networks in circles where these unlimited data packs are available.

Vi Hero Unlimited Packs include Rs 365 (28 Days), Rs 379 (1 Month), Rs 407 (28 Days), Rs 408 (28 Days), Rs 449 (28 Days), Rs 469 (28 Days), Rs 649 (56 Days), Rs 795 (56 Days), Rs 979 (84 Days), Rs 994 (84 Days), Rs 996 (84 Days), Rs 997 (84 Days), Rs 998 (84 Days), and Rs 1198 (70 Days).
