Vodafone Idea VoWi-Fi service is available in a total of seven circles in India. The seven circles include – Gujarat, Kolkata, Maharashtra & Goa, UP East, Mumbai, Delhi, and Rajasthan. The telco will be bringing the support for this service in multiple other telecom circles as well.
One of the best things about the VoWi-Fi service from Vodafone Idea (Vi) is that users don’t have to pay any additional costs to avail it. If the user is in one of the telecom circles mentioned above and owns a smartphone that supports VoWi-Fi from Vi, he/she can avail the service.
Vi has listed all the compatible devices for Wi-Fi calling on its website. There’s one thing though, if your Wi-Fi connection is not great, the service won’t be very effective. But if you are on a fiber internet connection and get great download/upload speed, you will be able to get a crystal clear voice on your call.
