Vodafone Idea Limited, which is now the leading telecom service provider in India with over 400 million subscribers today announced the upgradation of its network in Bihar & Jharkhand telecom circle to enhance the user experience. At the same time, the telco has announced it will provide free 4GB of data to the new 4G customers in the circle. Idea Cellular already has its 4G coverage in Bihar & Jharkhand, but until now, Vodafone has been offering only 2G and 3G coverage. From now, Vodafone will provide 4G services to users in Bihar & Jharkhand. That said, all the existing Vodafone customers will have to convert their current SIM card to a 4G one to enjoy the high-speed data services.

Vodafone Launches 4G Services in Bihar & Jharkhand
Until now, Vodafone has been offering 2G and 3G services in Bihar & Jharkhand circles. However, with the merger of Vodafone and Idea Cellular now finalised, the telco has introduced 4G services in the circle. Vodafone prepaid and postpaid customers in the said circle will get free 4GB of 4G data on upgrading to 4G SIM card from the existing 3G SIM card. As of November 30, 2018, Vodafone has over 9.5 million subscribers in the circle.
With the rollout of 4G services in 2471 towns in the circle, Vodafone customers across Bihar & Jharkhand will now get to experience high-speed 4G services. Some of the key states where Vodafone 4G has launched are Patna, Ranchi, Muzaffarpur, Dhanbad, Begusarai, Jamshedpur, Bhagalpur, Bokaro and Darbhanga.
