Vodafone India the second largest operator by subscriber base has walked the extra mile to ensure a sweeter Diwali for its subscribers in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP West, UP East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata and West Bengal circles by offering Diwali Delights, starting today and extending up to 27th October.

Vodafone will greet its customers visiting any Vodafone Store in the above mentioned 11 circles with a ‘customised offer’ best suited to their requirements along with other gifts to add to the Diwali festivities.

The beautifully decorated Vodafone stores will also present sweet Diwali surprises - special chocolates, mementos, greeting cards and more, delighting customers at the onset of the biggest festival of lights.

Extending her Diwali greetings to Vodafone customers in India, Kavita Nair, National Head – Retail and Digital, Vodafone India, said, “At Vodafone, we are driven with the singular objective of delivering superior experience to our customers. We realise that each customer has a different need and hence offer innovative products and services relevant to their needs. Diwali is one of the most important festivals in the country and a perfect time for Vodafone to enhance the festive spirit by inviting customers to our stores and offering customised plans along with gifts. We take this opportunity to wish all our customers Happy Diwali and will continue to delight them with such differentiated offerings in the days to come.”

With the ever increasing competition in the telecom sector, every operator is putting in extra efforts to hold on to its subscribers to reduce churn and safeguard its revenue. At a time when new comer Jio is handing out freebies in the form of unlimited voice and data to lure the existing subscribers of incumbent operators, this is the least that they can do to keep their subscriber base intact.
