Vodafone India is still offering 2G services in some circles across the country and Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh circle is one amongst them. However, that's going to change very soon as the telco is now gearing up to launch its SuperNet 4G services in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh telecom circle as well. Customers in the circle are receiving calls from the company's executives to get a 4G SIM card by heading over to the nearest Vodafone retail store. Post the launch, Vodafone users with a 4G handset can enjoy the high-speed data services from the country' second largest telecom operator.
Right now, Vodafone is offering 2G services in the circle and with Intra Circle Roaming agreement with Idea Cellular, the telco is able to provide 3G data services. This is not the only circle where Vodafone has ICR agreement with Idea. In Andhra Pradesh & Telangana circle too, Vodafone is providing 3G data services through Idea's network. And yes, Vodafone has already started providing 4G SIM cards to its subscribers in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana telecom circle.
The telco is offering 2G services in Bihar & Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh telecom circles as well. But it's expected to rollout 4G service in those two circles as well very soon. We're expecting that the Vodafone 4G pan-India coverage will be completed before the completion of its merger with Idea Cellular, which is expected to happen by the end of June 2018. Post the merger, Vodafone and Idea will become the largest telecom entity in the country with over 400 million subscribers and largest revenue market share.
If you're a Vodafone user in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh telecom circle, head over to the nearest Vodafone retail store to get the 4G SIM card. Also, do comment down if you've successfully taken a 4G Vodafone SIM card and activated it so that it will be helpful for other readers.
