Vivo Z1x is the second smartphone from Vivo to launch under the new Z series of phones. After the success of Vivo Z1 Pro, Vivo has announced the Vivo Z1x with similar specifications and minor upgrades over the former. Compared to the Vivo Z1 Pro, the Z1x ships with a 48MP primary camera sensor and the phone now has a traditional teardrop notch display on the front. That said, the Vivo Z1x lacks the 5000mAh battery, which was one of the key features of the Z1 Pro. Both the phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC and the newer model has an in-display fingerprint scanner & AMOLED display. With more features comes an increased price, right? It holds true for the Vivo Z1x as well as the phone now starts at Rs 16,990, compared to the Rs 14,900 price tag of the base variant of Vivo Z1 Pro.

Vivo Z1 Pro vs Vivo Z1x: Differences in Specifications
Kicking off with the display, the Vivo Z1x has a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen on the front with a teardrop notch and in-display fingerprint scanner. On the other hand, the Vivo Z1 Pro has an IPS LCD display with a punch hole; Notably, the Z1 Pro was the cheapest phone in the country with a punch home camera. They both are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC– a chipset aimed at gamers.
However, the Vivo Z1x’s base variant ships with 6GB of RAM this time around. The Vivo Z1 Pro was made available in three variants- 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB, whereas the Vivo Z1x comes in two variants- 6GB+6GB and 6GB+128GB. There’s a microSD card slot on the Vivo Z1 Pro, but the Vivo Z1x lacks it.
