Vivo, a Chinese smartphone maker, is all set to launch two new smartphones in the country namely Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro. The two devices will launch on August 7, 2024, in New Delhi. Both the devices are expected to come with many upgrades over their predecessors. The company confirmed the launch via a social media post on X. One of the best things is that it will feature a Zeiss co-engineered camera system. We have already seen how good Zeiss co-engineered camera systems have been in the flagship devices from Vivo. It will be interesting to see how the Vivo V40 series will perform here. Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro both are going to come with a vertically placed camera module.

Coming to the Vivo V40 Pro, you are likely going to see a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX816 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera sensor. Vivo V40 on the other hand may come with a dual-camera setup consisting of a main and ultra-wide-angle sensor.

There are also rumours in the online world that Vivo V40 series is going to be the thinnest in size to feature a 5500mAh battery. More details will be revealed as the device launches in the country.
