Only a few weeks back, Vivo introduced the Z series with the launch of Z1 Pro. Before that, the company had introduced the Vivo V15 and the Vivo V15 Pro. Now the brand has teased the launch of yet another smartphone in India, and surprisingly this smartphone is going to mark the beginning of a new S series from Vivo. Although a lot is not known about the upcoming S series of smartphones from Vivo, here is all the information that we could manage to get our hands on about the new Vivo series.

Vivo S Series Tease Details

Vivo in its latest teaser about the new series and the phone has said, “All new S series coming soon.” Now the speculations point towards the Vivo S1, which might be the phone that Vivo could debut in India. It is worth noting that Vivo S1 is a device which is available across many other markets of Vivo but for some reason has not made its entry to India. Also, what’s contributing to this fact is that in the past many rumours and leaks have also pointed towards the arrival of the Vivo S1 in India.

Vivo S1 Global Variant Specifications

Like we mentioned above; currently, Vivo has issued no solid information about this device and also about its launch in India. However, we do have some information about the Vivo S1 which is available outside of India. The Vivo S1 comes with an octa-core processor and is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The global variant of the Vivo S1 features a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display rendering a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. As for the design, the Vivo S1 on the front sports a waterdrop notch housing the selfie camera.

On the camera front, like the most trendy smartphones around these days, the Vivo S1 comes with triple rear camera setup. This triple rear camera setup on the Vivo S1 comes with a 16MP sensor with /f1.78 lens, secondary 8MP wide-angle sensor and a tertiary 2MP depth sensor. Whereas, for selfies, the Vivo S1 sports a 32MP sensor f/2.0 lens. Like it is the case with most latest Vivo phones in the market, the Vivo S1 will boot Android 9 Pie with the Funtouch OS 9 on top. Some of the other features of the smartphone include an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, massive 4500mAh battery, among other things. Now it is worth noting after introducing two interesting smartphones with the V and Z series, which audience Vivo targets with the launch of the S series in India.
