Vivo NEX 3 is slated to be Vivo’s next flagship phone and the specifications of the device also certainly point towards that direction. The specifications of Vivo NEX 3 are out in the open now, courtesy of a new TENAA listing. The spec sheet of the Vivo NEX 3 retrieved from the certification website reveals that the phone will feature a massive 6.89-inch display, a big 4,410mAh battery, up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and a 64MP primary sensor on the back. We already know that a lot of phone manufacturers have been teasing the launch of a phone with a 64MP sensor, so it is no surprise that the Vivo NEX 3, being the flagship offering, might also come with the same. At this point of time, the TENAA listing of the two models of Vivo NEX 3 does not come with any images.

Vivo NEX 3 Specifications and Features

The two models that have been found listen on the TENAA website include the model numbers V1923A/T and V1924A/T of the Vivo NEX 3. The TENAA listing of the phone reveals that it would sport a 6.89-inch AMOLED screen and the resolution of this screen would be full-HD+, i.e. 1,080 x 2,256 pixel. The phone would also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the Vivo NEX 3 would rock an octa-core processor with 2.96GHz clock speed. It is worth noting that the clock speed mentioned on the spec sheet of Vivo NEX 3 is also the clock speed of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, so the phone would likely run on this chipset only. The phone will boot Android 9 Pie, and it would come in in 8GB and 12GB RAM options and 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants.

Vivo NEX 3 Camera Specifications

The TENAA website also highlights the camera specifications of the upcoming Vivo NEX 3. The Vivo NEX 3 will sport a triple rear camera setup where the primary sensor will be a 64MP sensor, and the rest will be 13MP sensors. On the front, the device will come with a 16MP selfie sensor. Like we mentioned above, the battery capacity of the phone would also be ample as it would boast of a 4,410mAh battery. With such a battery, we can expect fast charging capability, and it is expected that the phone would come with an unprecedented 120W charging capability. The Vivo NEX 3 would weigh 218.5 grams, and dimensions will be 167.44 x 76.18 x 9.4mm.

Going by the official sketches and teasers that are out right now, the Vivo NEX 3 would bring a ‘waterfall’ screen design that will come with a 99.6% screen-to-body ratio. This high screen-to-body-ratio would mean that the front camera on this device would be housed in a pop-up module instead of in a notch. Some other features of the Vivo NEX 3 include pressure-sensitive buttons, 3.5mm headphone jack. As per the speculations, the Vivo NEX 3 could be announced sometime in September.
