Virgin Mobile GSM All Set To Enter In Kolkata

Virgin Mobile, India's only youth oriented mobile service which was available on CDMA, already has joined the GSM league in January this year is now gearing up to launch its services in GSM in metro area of Kolkata telecom circle via its franchisee agreement with Tata Teleservices .

The GSM SIM cards, Paper vouchers and other accessories of Virgin Mobile India is now being distributed through out the Kolkata circle to reach greater people is short of span. As most of Mobile service users having GSM handsets,and always feel good with GSM Technology. Virgin mobile GSM hope to bag a good number of customers from the Youth segment with its specially tailored VAS and calling packs.




As we earlier share on Telecom Talk, the Virgin Mobile GSM Starter Kit will cost Rs. 49 which includes Virgin GSM SIM card with zero talktime and lifetime validity. Default tariff or Basic on the Starter kit is Local Re 1 per minute, STD Rs 1.50 per minute. But details of other special tariff vouchers are yet to be revealed.

In Kolkata and Bengal circle GSM space is hitted up with Idea's new STVs to call all local numbers at just 30p/min with a monthly cost of Rs 23 per month. And Uninor is also ready to launch in Kolkata very soon. At this aspect let's see what unique offers will Virgin bring for youth of Kolkata.

Virgin Mobile's GSM service is presenlty available in Chennai, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andrapradesh, Karnataka, Orissa, Mumbai & Maharashtra-Goa telecom circles.
